Place the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
Add the chopped pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, dried dill, and black pepper.
If using green onions or blue cheese, add them as well.
Mix until everything is evenly combined and creamy.
Step 2: Prepare the Salami
Lay the salami slices flat on a clean work surface.
If your salami slices are small, slightly overlap two slices to create a larger surface for the filling.
Step 3: Add the Filling
Spread a thin, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each slice of salami.
Leave a small border around the edges so the filling doesn’t squeeze out when you roll them.
Step 4: Add the Pickles
Place a thin strip of dill pickle near one edge of each salami slice.
For extra crunch, you can add a little more finely chopped pickle over the cream cheese.
Step 5: Roll
Starting from the edge with the pickle, carefully roll the salami tightly around the filling.
Press gently as you roll so the filling stays inside.
Step 6: Chill
Place the finished rolls seam-side down on a plate or tray.
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to firm them up and make them easier to serve.
Step 7: Serve
Serve the Cream Cheese Pickle Rolls chilled.
For a party platter, arrange them on a serving plate and garnish with fresh dill or a few extra pickle slices.
Tip: For the neatest rolls, use softened—but not melted—cream cheese and make sure the pickles are well drained before adding them. This prevents the filling from becoming watery.
